Asher Adams Christmas
Christmas Decor for 2025 - Asher Adams, Autograph Collection, Salt Lake City, UT - Historic train stations are cool — but they're even better once converted into a trendy, luxury hotel.
That's exactly what you'll find in Salt Lake City at the now-open Asher Adams, an Autograph Collection hotel that was formerly the city's Union Pacific Depot, built between 1908 and 1909. Now with 225 rooms, the French second empire-style depot has been reborn into a modern hotel, but it retains touches of its past life with restored features like stained-glass windows and terrazzo floors. Its name comes from John R. Asher and George H. Adams, two American railroad cartographers.

Each room is thoughtfully designed with an uncompromising commitment to beauty, balance, and craftsmanship, creating a cohesive and elegant living experience throughout. The “showstopper” of the home is the Grand Entry Foyer, designed with a classic Ralph Lauren–inspired sensibility and elevated through an elegant infusion of rich blue ornamentation and heirloom nutcrackers. Eliot Hotel Holiday 2025
When designing the 2025 Eliot Hotel Holiday Installation in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood, we were inspired by a blend of old world antique colors. Featuring an engaging blend of golds, champagnes, crimsons, burgundies, and chocolates, along with midnight blues and cobalts we wanted to develop a unique warmth and depth. Using ball ornaments and garlands, combined with abundant live wintergreens, magnolia, and swirling grapevine, we created an elegant and enchanted forest wonderland fully framing the entrance to the hotel, and continuing up to the facade of the balcony. Accented with a variety of glitter sprays, from twinkling starbursts to bay leaves and fern fronds, this installation is a textural feast inviting guests and pedestrians alike to enjoy stepping into the Holiday spirit!

Evergreen - CO
This season, we transformed our client’s entry into a joyful celebration of color and craftsmanship. The custom arch framing the front door features a lush garland layered with vivid pinks, radiant purples, fiery oranges, and rich reds—each ornament hand-selected to reflect their bold, playful aesthetic. Bright fuchsia, red, orange and green ribbons add movement and flair, catching the light and welcoming guests with warmth and wonder.
Inside, we carried the palette forward with a bespoke standalone piece for their living room—a sculptural garland installation designed as a true work of art. It’s not just decor—it’s a conversation starter, a celebration of texture, and a reflection of their vibrant spirit.
And don’t miss the railing garland: a cascading mix of greenery and clementine orange accents that ties the entire home together with elegance and cheer.
Legacy North Pole Ornament Wall
A bright and cheery photo moment comprised of thousands of ornaments. Inspired by a holiday food display at Selfridges, the team used our modern holiday color palette to create more than 14 panels of strung various sized ornaments.

Peppermint Candyland
We had a blast transforming the Cox Toyota showroom into a festive escape—complete with a whimsical peppermint candyland tree and walkway that tied it all together.
Pinot Noir
This year, I embraced a minimalist approach for my main tree. I simply repurposed existing ornaments and added just a few new touches: soft candlelight, berries, rustic pinecones, and wisps of cedar spray. The result? A rich organic look that works perfectly with my space. I’m in love with how it turned out!!! I've dubbed her Pinot Noir.
Nutcracker on Ice
Requested to echo the magic of Nutcracker on Ice, this year’s Terrace Room design glimmers with frosted elegance at Alamance Country Club. Iridescent shimmer, baby blue, silver, midnight hues, and snowy white cascade together in harmony. Rising 14 feet tall, this live tree dazzles with crystalline sprays, towering 24" icicles, and countless sparkling treasures—each detail a note in a wintry symphony of light and wonder.
Veil of Glory
This tree is an all black flocked tree, all bold—and absolutely beautiful. I leaned into drama, elegance, and texture to let the design speak for itself. My client is obsessed, and so am! I dubbed this one "Veil of Glory."
Celestial Grace
I named my dining room tree Celestial Grace. This tree was created as a testament of God's mercy and grace — wrapped in silver and white. Each pearl reflects the purity of His promises, each glass ornament a reminder of the fragility and beauty of grace. The shimmer of silver speaks of His light, guiding us through the season with hope. It's a celebration of peace, reverence, and the joy found in His presence. May every layer whisper His love and every glow invite reflection.
Franklin Square, Washington DC
Project Description
This holiday installation at Franklin Square was designed to transform a modern corporate lobby into a warm, immersive winter environment while maintaining a refined, architectural aesthetic appropriate for a high-profile urban setting.
The design features two 14-foot statement trees placed prominently in the main lobby, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows in downtown Washington, DC. Styled in a “Midnight Luxe” palette, the trees incorporate deep greens, rich reds, and subtle metallic accents. Matte and glossy ornaments, poinsettias, berry sprays, pinecones, and ribbon were used to create depth and visual interest without overpowering the space.
Adjacent to the lobby, a custom winter scene anchors the design with layered alpine and birch trees at varying heights. Faux snow, lanterns, and sculptural woodland elements ground the vignette and add a natural, woodsy feel that contrasts with the surrounding modern finishes.
An illuminated garland installation lines the glass overlook railings, visually connecting multiple levels of the building and extending the design throughout the space. On the concourse level below, a complementary 10-foot tree showcases the same color palette and materials for continuity.
All elements were custom styled using Vickerman’s high-quality artificial trees, florals, ornaments, and decorative accents, selected for durability and visual impact in a high-traffic commercial environment.

Pretty in Green, Red, and Pink
This whimsical Christmas tree was designed 11.15.2025 for the grandchildren, but adults enjoyed it as well. The very popular Vickerman jumbo poinsettias in dark green, medium green, and red are a huge part of my design for myself and clients! Mixed with beautiful green picks and red garlands, along with candy stripe poinsettias and dessert ornaments and snowmen snowcones make for an intriguing theme. Filling the tree adds interest each time you look at it. Vickerman has been my go-to for greenery, wreaths, ornaments and holiday decor for years!
This theme was carried over to the mantle as well.

GALLOPING INTO 2026: THE YEAR OF THE HORSE
For this high end custom Vickerman Christmas tree project, our inspiration stemmed from the 2026 Chinese zodiac animal—the horse. Our residential client desired a bold and dramatic centerpiece that would embody the elegance and symbolism of the year’s theme. The theme of the design is a masterfully crafted equestrian motif, sparking energy and elegance. Composed of an assortment of Vickerman decorations, a Vickerman tree, the design features varying textures and styles, including additional design elements like a chess board, Harrods London hat topper, Hermes pieces, etc. Gold, brown and deep brass accents were used throughout with shimmering sequins. This creates a visually dynamic and lifelike effect that embodies the strength and elegance of the horse. The rest of the tree is adorned in a gold, warm palette, using luminous decorations from Vickerman. From the tree, to the tree ornaments and decorations, to the accessories used around our client's home, we invested heavily into just Vickerman products for this design!
Evergreen Elegance
Standing tall at twelve ft., this magnificent tree enhances the entrance with a very traditional elegance. The tree is embellished with the most Royal Ribbon. A classic green velvet ribbon edged with a golden trim, a lovely red ribbon with a joyful holiday message, “Merry Christmas.” Adding charm, emerald velvet ribbons with light gold sequins and accented with the wine velvet colored ribbon. Complimented with shatterproof ornaments in green, gold, red – a variety of sizes for the grandness of the tree. The greatest effect was the 6” branch ball garland (N2401) that cascades across the tree. At the peak of the tree, an assortment of festive picks, finished off with 12” red 3D glister star – shining brightly on every angel of the royal tree.
TSK
We went with a twist on "Jewel Tone" with Cobalt Blue, Burgundy, and Fuschia. I had designed a traditional garland for the client in 2020 and the lights burned out last year, so we had an opportunity to change it up and the client wanted "something different."
Magical Peppermint Christmas Entryway
Welcome to my festive Peppermint Christmas entryway, full of cheer! The giant peppermint steals the show, adding a bold pop of red-and-white magic that makes the room feel like a holiday candy wonderland. Paired with cozy greenery, twinkle lights, and classic nutcrackers, it brings the perfect mix of whimsy and charm. The entryway sets the tone for the rest of your home, and mine this year set the stage for a fun, playful, and magical holiday. Champagne Sparkle
The slim line tree was transformed into a luminous of elegance with champagne and ivory. It was decorated with luxurious champagne gold embroidery ribbon, creating a prestigious statement. Creating a dazzling topper with champagne designers stems. Every detail coming together to create a sophisticated look in the smallest of spaces.

The garland entryway incorporates an extra large bow with accents to connect to the floating ceiling, a matching front door wreath with handmade bow & accents, & custom gold bells in the upper outdoor rafters.
The client expressed their interest in holiday decor that incorporated invisible floating ornaments. Taking their preferences, I sourced large branches from the nearby woods, painted them white with an air compressor sprayer, and hung the branches, Vickerman ornaments, crystals, & lights from the ceiling using 50 Lbs fishing wire. We then added a few of the clients pre-owned accent pieces to the front porch to round it all out.

Cheekwood Entrance Foyer: "An Emerald Forest" -- 2025
As part of the 2025 "Sweet Holiday Dreams" holiday installation at Cheekwood Estates and Botanical Gardens in Nashville, TN, the grand entrance foyer was rendered as a serene green emerald forest of trees and topiaries, inspired by nature, classic architecture and festive holiday design.
Design inspiration for the "Emerald Green Entrance Foyer" at Cheekwood Estate and Botanical Gardens (Nashville, TN):
The Inspiration:
Inspired by the magical evergreen woodlands of my native Pacific Northwest, the antique tapestries in the room, and the 16th-century melody “Greensleeves,” I envisioned a grand entrance in layered shades of green and gold to evoke the feeling of a winter forest. The tree and topiary designs blend romantic Tudor elegance with a sense of holiday grandeur and natural splendor.
The Look:
The overall aesthetic is a festive, elegant woodland theme with shimmer and sparkle to add lightness and holiday flair. Natural elements such as gilded pinecones and evergreen textures further enhance the forest-inspired mood. A color palette of emerald, moss, and chartreuse, accented with touches of gold, creates a classic and inviting ambiance that harmonizes with the architectural details and antique tapestries in the space.
Technique (trees):
As a foundation, large reflective ornaments were placed near the trunk to enhance illumination and interior glow. To build depth and dimension, layered garlands of green ornaments were added to extend beyond the natural profile of the tree, creating a sense of movement and organic flow. Additional elements -- including sparkling branches and ribbon swags -- were then woven throughout, resulting in an opulent, sculptural design with a richly layered effect.
Design goal:
My overarching goal with this design was for visitors to feel as though they stepped into an enchanted forest -- a place of beauty, serenity, and timeless holiday wonder.

St Regis Hallmark Holiday
This luxury holiday install was designed for a family celebrating their first Christmas in their new residence at the iconic St. Regis on Longboat Key. The brief? To create a setting that felt like it belonged in a Hallmark movie — magical, warm, and filled with tradition — but elevated to match the modern architecture and coastal luxury of their new home.
The design leans into a classic palette of rich reds, deep greens, and warm golds, layered with lush florals, soft candlelight, and curated moments of nostalgia. Every detail — from the velvet ribbon-tied dining chairs to the fully styled hot chocolate bar and custom tree — was crafted to spark joy and celebrate new traditions in a brand-new space.
A signature feature of the project is its flow — holiday styling moves seamlessly from dining to living, creating a cohesive experience where no corner was overlooked. It’s a true lifestyle installation, designed not just to look beautiful, but to support real holiday memories: entertaining family, toasting by the bar, unwrapping gifts under a tree that glows with intention.
This install embodies the heart of Hallmark: not overdone, not theme-park — but deeply personal, polished, and joyfully abundant.

Evergreen and Eucalyptus Entrance
This simple yet striking front door garland was designed to feel timeless, warm, and welcoming for a family home. Traditional red ball ornaments and berries anchor the design with classic holiday cheers, while unexpected touches of spiral eucalyptus add texture, movement and a modern twist. The result is a garland that feels cozy and approachable, but layered with intention - inviting guests to pause, admire, and step inside with a sense of holiday comfort. By balancing tradition with a touch of surprise, this design transforms an everyday doorway into a festive statement that's both elegant and joyful.

A Home for the Holidays
This lobby was designed for the FedEx Family House with intention, warmth, and purpose at the forefront. Rich red and deep burgundy accents were layered throughout to create a sense of comfort, tradition, and hope - colors that feel grounding and familiar during what can be an incredibly emotional season for the families who stay here.
This project was made possible through collaboration with the FedEx Pilots Wives Association, a local nonprofit whose members continually show up to support families during some of their most challenging moments. Their commitment to service and community was the heart behind this installation. We were also generously supported by Vickerman, whose discounted materials allowed our budget to stretch further and ensured the space could be filled with fullness, beauty, and care without compromise.
The FedEx Family House provides a home away from home for families traveling to Memphis, TN while their loved ones receive critical medical care at LeBonheur Children's Hospital. It offers comfort, stability, and dignity during times of uncertainty—something that felt especially important to honor through this design. Every ribbon, ornament, and layer was chosen with the hope of bringing a small sense of peace, warmth, and normalcy to the families who gather here.
This is more than seasonal décor - it’s a reflection of what’s possible when community, generosity, and design come together in service of something bigger.
Modern Citrus Christmas Welcome
Inspired by the warmth and layered textures of a California Mexican restaurant, this project was designed to feel both grounded and vibrant—an extension of the food, the culture, and the gathering that happens within the space. The palette centers on copper olive, burnished orange, juniper, and olive, echoing natural elements found throughout the landscape while staying rooted in the restaurant’s wood grain finishes and earthy architecture.
A Modern Citrus Christmas
Inspired by the warmth and layered textures of a California Mexican restaurant, this project was designed to feel both grounded and vibrant - an extension of the food, the culture, and the gathering that happens within the space. The palette centers on copper olive, burnished orange, juniper, and olive, echoing natural elements found throughout the landscape while staying rooted in the restaurant’s wood grain finishes and earthy architecture.
Tan wood accents provide a neutral foundation, allowing the color story to feel organic rather than decorative. Dried grapefruit slices were incorporated to bring in citrus warmth and subtle texture, adding a sensory element that feels fresh, intentional, and connected to the culinary experience. Gold eucalyptus garland introduces movement and softness, catching the light and elevating the installation without overpowering the space.
Touches of metallic jewel-toned ribbon were layered throughout to create depth and contrast - adding just enough shimmer to reflect the restaurant’s energy while maintaining a refined, cohesive look. The result is a design that feels immersive and authentic, balancing tradition with a modern edge, and inviting guests to linger, gather, and experience the space in a new way
The Heart of Christmas
Designed for a family home, this tree and mantel were created to feel deeply traditional, layered and welcoming - the kind of Christmas that feels familiar the moment you walk in. Rich red berries take center stage throughout, grounding the design in classic holiday color while adding fullness and movement. Vickerman's green and red ribbon weaves through the tree with intention, softening the structure and typing each element together without overpowering it.
Mocha mercury glass accents were chosen for their ability to catch the light and add quiet warmth, bringing a subtle glow that feels elegant yet approachable. The coordinating mantel mirror's the tree's palette and texture, creating a seamless conversation between the two spaces and allowing the room to feel cohesive from every angle.
Every choice was made with family in mind - durable timeless materials layered in a way that feels festive but not precious. This design is meant to be lived in, gathered around, and remembered. A true nod to traditional Christmas styling, elevated through thoughtful balance, repetition, and warmth.
A Blue Christmas Welcome

Antique Gold-Black Lux Holiday Showroom
This was my second year decorating MountainSafe Exteriors’ showroom in Denver, CO, and I love that we get to keep building something special together. Working with another small business and helping them bring their holiday vision to life makes this work really meaningful.
Matching their Marvin colors was key, so I used Vickerman Antique Golden Candy ornaments in sizes from 3” to 8”, layering them to give the tree and garlands depth and a soft glow. To make the gold pop, I added Vickerman 2.5” and 4” black-with-gold-trim velvet ribbon—a little touch of contrast that gave the whole design a luxe feel while keeping it approachable and festive.
I created a 9” slim tree, a 27” garland around the showroom windows, and coordinating wreaths throughout the space. The goal was for everything to feel cohesive, intentional, and welcoming—like a holiday hug for anyone walking in.
The best part? The client loved it. Seeing another small business so happy with the finished design reminds me why I do this work—it’s about supporting each other, celebrating our brands, and making spaces feel special during the holidays.
Candy Cabin-Holiday Market
I was one of the decorators invited to help decorate the Cherry Creek Holiday Market in Denver, CO, and this year I worked on the new Candy Cane Cabin. I wanted the design to feel fun, festive, and a little nostalgic, while still keeping it modern and family-friendly.
I used 32 feet of pre-lit garland layered with Vickerman candy swirl ornaments, candy cane glitter swirl drops, and red matte ornaments, all chosen to hold up for an outdoor, snow-or-shine event. To finish it off, I added Vickerman red foil ribbon and red-and-pink diagonal checkerboard ribbon for that extra pop.
Seeing guests light up and enjoy the space made this project especially rewarding.
Botanical Luxe Evergreen
This holiday tree design blends modern elegance with organic warmth, creating a refined yet inviting seasonal statement. Inspired by nature, contemporary architecture, and a sophisticated neutral palette, the design pairs rich metallics with soft textures to achieve a timeless, elevated look. The tree features a curated mix of oversized ornaments in champagne, antique gold, warm copper, soft silver, and matte black, creating depth and visual interest throughout. A variety of finishes including ribbed, faceted, mirrored, and glittered surfaces, are layered intentionally to reflect light and add dimension, while statement ornaments are placed strategically to anchor the design. A key element of this design is the use of faux air plants, which are woven throughout the tree to introduce sculptural movement and an organic, modern edge. Their soft, flowing forms create contrast against the structured ornaments and metallic finishes, adding texture and a natural rhythm that enhances the overall composition without overwhelming it.
Wine Tones, Lantern Glow
This Christmas tree is a bold, elegant statement anchored in rich wine tones. Graduated ball ornaments in 12”, 10”, 8”, 6”, and 4” are layered intentionally—creating depth at the base and a refined taper as the eye moves upward.
Architectural lantern accents add warmth and old-world charm, giving the tree a collected, story-driven feel. The look is finished with a coordinating ribbon bow topper, layered in 4”, 2.5”, and 1” ribbons for dimension and movement.
Lush greenery and warm lights tie it all together, resulting in a dramatic yet timeless holiday centerpiece.
The Gilded Heritage Tree
This tree embodies timeless, traditional elegance with rich, layered warmth. Oversized wine and gold jewel-toned ornaments anchor the design, while coordinating wine-colored round ornaments in 10”, 8”, and 6” scales are thoughtfully placed to create balance, depth, and visual rhythm.
Beautiful oversized ribbon cascades throughout the tree, adding softness and movement. The look is crowned with a dramatic, textural tree topper, featuring cascading branches and organic elements that add height, drama, and a natural finishing flourish. Lush greenery, berry accents, and warm lighting complete the composition, resulting in a refined, heirloom-inspired holiday statement.
Arctic Elegance
This tree feels polished, layered, and intentionally luxurious. An iced, frost-kissed base sets the tone, giving the entire design a finished, wintry presence. Oversized silver and aqua jewel-style ornaments are thoughtfully mixed with varying textures—matte, glass, and crystal-inspired finishes—to create depth and visual movement. The cool metallics and vibrant aqua tones pop against the frosted branches, while clustered placement adds drama without overwhelm. The result is a refined, high-impact holiday statement that feels complete, cohesive, and effortlessly elegant.
Think Pink Xmas Tree
Our client asked me to create something unique for a holiday tree this year for their large commercial lobby in Downtown Boston. I chose the 14’ unlit silver fir tree, and added snake lights, and utilized 6 different color ornaments in various sizes and finishes, along with pink multi ball glitter sprays, plus we made a silver mesh garland around the base of the tree. I then selected pink fir wreaths and added some coordinating ornaments to tie into the tree design. We also added small glass round vases with various size ball ornaments and faux snow for the tables to finish our Think Pink theme…..
Red, Green, Pink Beauty
A Christmas tree dressed in pinks, reds, and deep greens glows with a romantic, storybook charm. Soft red and gold ornaments mingle with rich crimson accents, creating warmth and depth against the flocked branches and gold magnolia garlands. Pearls are found in the floral accents and balls which are woven throughout like quiet starlight. Touches of velvet ribbons and subtle sparkle add richness without overwhelming the palette. The overall effect is refined yet inviting: a classic Christmas tree reimagined with softness, glamour, and timeless holiday warmth.
Berry Luxe Noël
Berry Luxe Noël is a modern holiday tree inspired by rich jeweled tones and bold color play. Shades of purple, plum, and berry are layered with vibrant hot pink to create a dramatic yet polished palette.
A mix of oversized ornaments in matte, glossy, mirrored, and glitter finishes adds depth and texture throughout the design, while lush florals and berry accents enhance the jeweled look. Soft velvet ribbon cascades through the tree, providing movement and balance against the bold color story, and an oversized bow crowns the design as a statement focal point.
The result is a contemporary, fashion-forward holiday tree that celebrates color, texture, and modern glamour in a cohesive and elevated way!
Wally Tree
For Wally's Grill and Drafthouse we created a 9' tall WALL tree that extends out less than 2' into the room. This tree gives a huge WOW factor without stealing dining space. At CBI we are known for thinking outside the box and creating custom pieces known as CBI Originals.
Wally's Grill and Drafthouse: The Chandelier
In the era of fun pop-up bars we opted for a classy Christmas to elevate this popular neighborhood spot. We focussed on three things: branding colors, design longevity and making a huge impact without taking up precious floor space. This Christmas chandelier is over 5' round and makes a statement while helping to separate each of the dining areas.
Upside Down Candyland Christmas
UPSIDE DOWN "CANDYLAND CHRISTMAS". This beautiful upside down tree was the centerpiece of my new Home Decor Boutique.
Narnia
A North Texas home has been transformed into a 7,500-square-foot, immersive recreation of The Chronicles of Narnia—a walk-through Christmas experience designed to share light, hope, and wonder.
Guests step through a grand wardrobe into an Eternal Winter Forest of flocked trees, illuminated branches, and cascading ice-like greenery, capturing a world frozen and waiting for light. The journey continues through frost-kissed kitchens, Mr. Tumnus’s earthy cave of hidden life, and softly emerging spring florals that signal renewal and hope.
As guests ascend, wild growth, delicate blossoms, and twinkling lights guide them toward moments of transformation, including a sculptural floral interpretation of The Chronicles of Narnia itself—bursting with life from its pages.
The story culminates with the Dawn Treader, a twelve-foot ship navigating floating island tables, each artistically representing themes of temptation, renewal, and redemption. A final ascent leads to a celestial space of gold and white, where orchids, palms, and radiant florals surround Aslan, the Great Lion—bringing the story to its triumphant, hope-filled conclusion.
Gooseberry - Burgundy & Gold

The Enchanted Woodland Heirloom Tree
This heartwarming Christmas tree blends classic holiday charm with a refined, storybook aesthetic. Designed in rich forest greens and earthy jewel tones, it features layers of deep navy, bronze, moss, and champagne ornaments, accented with natural pinecones, berries, and delicate woodland details. Warm white lights are woven throughout, creating a cozy glow that invites you in and lingers.
At the base, an enchanting gathering of plush teddy bears adds a nostalgic, family-forward touch—instantly evoking comfort, tradition, and childhood wonder. Thoughtful details like the sculpted bird ornaments and organic textures bring a curated, nature-inspired feel that feels timeless rather than trendy.
Perfect for residential communities, hospitality spaces, and family-focused brands, this tree tells a story of warmth, connection, and holiday magic—a design that feels both elevated and emotionally resonant, creating moments people remember long after the season ends.
Moody Elegance. A showpiece tree that feels curated, couture, and completely custom.
This statement Christmas tree is the definition of elevated holiday luxury. Designed in a rich jewel-tone palette, it layers deep plum, aubergine, olive, champagne, and soft gold for a look that feels both dramatic and refined. Oversized matte and satin ornaments are woven seamlessly with metallic florals, gilded foliage, and warm twinkle lights, creating depth, texture, and a luminous glow from every angle.
Anchored by an elegant gold reindeer sculpture, the tree tells a story of modern opulence with a whimsical edge—perfect for upscale residential spaces, boutique hotels, luxury lobbies, or brands looking to make an unforgettable seasonal impression. It’s bold without being overpowering, festive without being traditional, and designed to stop people in their tracks.
Christmas Elegance
This elegant, glittering Christmas tree is a vision of holiday glamour, designed to transform this restaurant into a festive, inviting retreat. The design exclusively leverages a blend of classic gold and shimmering champagne metallic tones to create a sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere.
Stacy Del Zotto Christmas Residential Install
This holiday installation was inspired by scale and repetition, using layered evergreen garlands and illuminated trees to create a cohesive experience from exterior entry to interior spaces. Traditional holiday colors were elevated through saturated reds, brushed gold accents, frosted greenery, and warm white lighting.
Vickerman ornaments were used on the interior trees, combining matte and high-gloss finishes to add depth and visual contrast within the foliage. Oversized sculptural ornaments were incorporated as exterior and interior accent elements to create architectural moments and emphasize proportion throughout the space.
Natural materials such as pine, cedar, and pinecones ground the design, while repetition and balance unify the installation into a single, immersive seasonal environment.
Station Casinos Corp Install
This holiday installation was designed to complement the contemporary architecture and art-forward environment of Station Casinos Corp. A restrained yet layered palette of red, gold, champagne, and soft metallic neutrals was selected to balance warmth with refinement within the expansive lobby space.
The primary tree serves as a vertical focal point, densely layered with ornaments in graduated tones to create depth and visual movement from base to crown. Supporting trees and tabletop elements echo this composition, reinforcing cohesion throughout the environment. Ornament groupings and sculptural accents were arranged to align with the surrounding artwork and clean architectural lines, allowing the installation to feel integrated rather than decorative.
Warm white lighting, metallic finishes, and controlled repetition were used to elevate traditional holiday elements into a polished, modern seasonal statement appropriate for a large-scale hospitality setting.
Richardsons Holiday Residential Install
This installation reimagines classic holiday motifs through scale, pattern, and contrast. A red-and-white palette with candy-inspired accents, oversized ornaments, and layered greenery creates a cohesive composition across the tree, mantel, and surrounding architectural elements.
Warm white lighting and playful sculptural details add depth and movement, balancing tradition with visual impact while remaining integrated with the formal interior setting.
Fall into Winter Tree
10' Living room tree. I used burgundy, copper and chocolate to pull together this fall into winter tree. The large lanterns gave the tree a unique flare.
Candy Cane Lane
Candy Cane Lane is an enchanting interior holiday design that invites guests into a world of whimsical celebration. Plantasia Design crafted this concept for the Boston Park Plaza, blending classical elegance with modern aesthetics to create a magical fantasy land for visitors of all ages. At the client's request, this 'sweet’ and interactive experience is spread across multiple lobby locations, offering numerous picturesque opportunities for guests to share on social media. We are delighted to debut this sweet holiday installation, marking a successful first-year partnership with this iconic Boston landmark.
The Kozy Nook offers a charming retreat where guests can relax on cozy benches or gather under a giant holiday hoop for festive group photos. Nearby, the Off the Commons Bar features a striking back wall adorned with oversized candy décor positioned above themed garland, completed with candy ornaments, a giant bow, two swags and decorated columns. Looking upward, the OTC restaurant seating area is framed by themed garland that wraps along eight sections of the second-floor mezzanine railings. To add to the vertical scale, extra-large candy accents hang from six ceiling-to-floor drapes. The lobby centerpiece holiday tree stands atop a red rug, overflowing with sweet-themed elements and crowned with impressive five-foot candy canes. Upon entry, guests are welcomed by two decorated Corinthian columns that lead the eye directly toward the tree and main displays. The magic extends into every corner of the hotel: a sleek pencil tree and console arrangement brighten the elevator lobby, while the library workspace features a wreath, two light sconces, and ornaments are tucked amongst the bookshelves. Finally, two matching wreaths at the reception desk provide a warm, 'Candy Cane Lane' welcome to every arriving guest.
Christmas In Color
This Christmas tree was created through the eyes of childhood wonder. After years of a calm, neutral tree, I wanted to give my niece and her kids something magical—something that felt like joy had exploded right into their living room.
Bursting with color from top to bottom, this tree is a cheerful mix of bright ornaments, playful details, and happy surprises around every branch. It’s bold, imaginative, and a little bit delightfully over-the-top—just the way Christmas feels to kids. Designed to spark smiles, laughter, and wide-eyed excitement, this tree lights up the room and reminds us that the season is meant to be fun, colorful, and full of magic.
A celebration of joy, imagination, and Christmas cheer—turned all the way up.
Red Sleigh
This cute red sleigh scene turned out to be a crowd favorite on Instagram! I used several Vickerman pieces in this design including rich red velvet 4" ribbon, icy red cranberry picks and 4" mercury shatterproof balls.

Pastel Christmas Tree
Once upon a time there was a black sheep who loved color more than anything. This year's tree is my love letter to the little girl I was. The one who lined up her My Little Ponies in perfect rows and dreamed of tiny porcelain spiced village houses she wasn't allowed to touch. These are the colors of my childhood and the softness of my favorite memories. This year's tree is her world, finally within reach.
Ornaments used are the Vickerman 6" 4" and 2" round classic in glitter and matte, the pastel finials and the pastel shiny onions.
Cream and White floral
To be subtle and elegant, is what this corner of the Grand Hall needed this tree to be. The pearls, the glitter, the elegant ribbons, just a touch of blue to nod to the 14’ tree, also in the grand hall, is what is needed. This tree, though only 7’ tall, now commands attention and many ooooohs and aaaaaaaahs.
Christmas in the Grand Hall
Opulent blues and golds containing layers and layers of Christmas describes this tree. The home this tree is hosted in is very “Vienna” in style and the tree needs to be traditional and elegant to accentuate the furnishings in the Grand Hall. The clients have never seen such a lovely tree. Thank you, Vickerman, for providing exactly what this Grand Hall needed for Christmas celebrations, galore!
FAIRMONT BREAKERS LONG BEACH
Touching every public space in this recently renovated art deco gem, Hoopla! created a completely custom design that celebrated the old world holiday glamour. The centerpiece is the 15ft Vickerman Itasca Frasier tree in the lobby, dripping with not only Vickerman ball ornaments and ball garlands, but champagne jewel and mercury ornaments, cone ornaments, specialty glass, pearls, rhinestones and crystals, and topped with a velvet bow.
Surf Shack Christmas Tree
This is a custom Christmas tree design for a residence by the beach in Santa Monica, California, with a "70s Surf Shack" concept. We used a gradient of Vickerman ornaments in colors to compliment the color scheme of the rest of the home.
Cake Bake Shop Disney's BoardWalk Resort
Gwendolyn has created a magical winter wonderland at The Cake Bake Shop at Disney's BoardWalk Resort in Walt Disney World. Using Vickerman picks, ornaments and tress to create a polar bear wonderland.
Hampton Roads Show
Harty Homes had the opportunity to decorate The Hampton Roads Show TV set. Wavy TV 10 is our local TV station, and every weekday they air The Hampton Roads Show. These holiday decorations were featured on their Thanksgiving and Black Friday holiday TV specials, and will be used as their set design for the entire month of December!
Fun Meets Sophistication
This design was inspired by the home itself — elegant, unique, and full of luxurious charm. Drawing from the custom artwork above the mantle, we curated a color palette that feels intentional, elevated, and perfectly at home in this space.
Every element on this 12-foot silver tinsel tree — including the tree itself — is from Vickerman. A mix of bauble sizes paired with dramatic 20” finials creates the perfect retro-inspired statement.
The mantle design is anchored by Vickerman’s pre-lit gold tinsel garland, chosen specifically to support the overall vision of the space. To create cohesion throughout the design, the same Vickerman ornaments featured on the tree are thoughtfully carried onto the mantle as well.
Winter Woodland
For this Christmas tree, our inspiration came from the natural beauty of the woodland forest. As a woodshop, we designed a tree that reflects our love for handcrafted details, pairing gold and champagne-toned Vickerman ornaments with our laser-engraved ornaments to create a warm, elegant glow. The tree is complemented by a playful window display featuring our store dogs, Ginger and Peep, mischievously biting Santa’s backside as he climbs up the chimney, bringing a touch of humor and personality to the holiday season. This design combines classic woodland charm with our own handcrafted touch, using Vickerman products to create a tree that feels both luxurious and uniquely ours.
Stars & Stripes Celebration
This tree celebrates America’s 250th year of independence with a patriotic palette of red, white, and blue. Adorned with Vickerman ornaments and military-themed decorations, the tree honors those who serve while creating a festive centerpiece for the season. The display is paired with our Winter Woodland scene, where military and other themed nutcrackers ride ski lifts, adding whimsy and storytelling to the design. Every element, from ornaments to accessories, showcases Vickerman products, blending tradition, patriotism, and playful holiday charm into a memorable tribute to the nation’s milestone anniversary.
A Wicked Christmas
Custom Pink and Green tree to match AKA Sorority colors. It matches the theme of Wicked. Feminine and fun.
Gold Amaranthus Tree
A metallic holiday tree blending gold, champagne, copper, and matte black for a sophisticated seasonal style.
Lime Green & Red Christmas Tree
The goal: something WACKY, whimsical and bright!
I combined the Vickerman 6.5ft lime green tree (which is so bright that no one believes I didn't spray paint it!) with a variety of their polka dot ornaments. Vickerman's red 1" velvet has been a major HIT this season, so we wrapped some 3-loop bows in there to fill any spaces left.
The end product? Something fun, over-the-top and perfect for kids!
Fertility Clinic Holiday
Following a major remodel that our design team managed this summer, we were invited to bring the holiday spirit into the lobby. With the help of Vickerman, we created a festive wonderland—using their beautiful tree, ribbon, and most of the ornaments to spread cheer throughout the space.

2025 Dining Room Frame
The blue and white dining room of the historic McCormick House is a visitor favorite.
Silver and gold are so commonly used; and our dining room is easy to be a default blue/white decoration theme. Copper seemed rich and unusual. The challenge was to use copper in a way that would not evoke thoughts of a Thanksgiving tablescape. Inspiration came simply by combining the look of ornament-heavy exterior garlands seen in the 2024 Vickerman design competition with a YouTuber who posted her at-home frame on a small table with ribbon, faux poinsettias and ornaments as a Christmas dining room decor.
This year, rather than Christmas trees around the table, a frame was built over the 10-seat dining table in the McCormick House with a copper and midnight blue theme, with accents of pearl, gold and silver to tie-in the room colors and the table silverware and candelabras. LED lights illuminate the garlands on both the frame and nearby fireplace mantel. Velvet copper ribbon as well as gold, damask-patterned navy and gold ribbons fill in the spaces among the hundreds of ornament balls. Real white poinsettias from our production greenhouses in silver containers also help brighten the room's seasonal composition. The copper velvet tablecloth, along with plates and copper chargers reflect the light to illuminate the ornaments, ribbon and garland on the table frame even when the LED light strands are not on. On display for Christmas at Cantigny guests from Nov 21 through January 4, 2026.
